Rent-To-Own (RTO) is a concept designed to help qualified future homeowners (Tenant Buyers) that cannot get a traditional mortgage from the bank today because of credit and debt issues or a low down payment.  

Our step-by-step program creates the bridge from renting to home ownership. You get to live in the home you choose today and earn home ownership, usually in 3 years, with the guidance of our team. 

Our Step-by-step process

CHOOSE YOUR HOME

A qualified Tenant Buyer and their realtor works with our team to find the home they want to live in today.

HOME IS BOUGHT

The RTGH team purchases the house for you and retains ownership

PAY DOWN PAYMENT

You contribute at least 3% of the purchase price as a down payment

SAVE MONTHLY

On a monthly basis, you pay market rent + an Option Credit which will accumulate and also be used towards the future purchase price.

STAY THE COURSE

Every 6 months you’re meeting with our credit specialist to ensure you’re on track 

06

OWN YOUR HOME

In 3 years time, you are able to purchase the home from us at a pre-determined price using the cumulative down-payment (original downpayment + accumulated Monthly Option Credits)
